Welcome from our Executive Director

Welcome to Three Oaks Opera! We are excited that you are interested in us and want you to feel at home. We hope, first of all, that you will find a way to be involved at Three Oaks. Whether it is coming to see The New Guilford Trio in concert, supporting THE BEAR WHO LEFT WALL STREET project, volunteering to give man hours in converting office and rehearsal space in Illinois, helping with opera education in schools in Phoenix, or simply supporting us financially, we invite you join our family. Our by line is “creating new worlds”, so come and help us make a new world! Help us be a better place to live and grow. Help us teach the next generation about the traditions of opera that go back to our ancestors in Europe and Africa.

We are an innovative opera company that performs and produces live opera in select cities around the world.  Using local singers and orchestras, we tap into the rich resources of a particular locale–tailoring performances to that particular audience. As you look through our website, we hope you are inspired. We hope you learn something new about yourself and about the world.

Exciting things are happening here! I am continually amazed at the growth of our organization. With the addition of Amahl and the Night Visitors in December of 2021 in Philadelphia, we can say that we have produced on the East Coast; in the Mid-Atlantic Region with The Marriage of Figaro and other productions in Virginia; in the West with The Magic Flute in Phoenix, Arizona; and last, but certainly not least, we hope soon to renew our long-term presence with our friends at St. Mark’s English Church in Florence, Italy, where our latest productions of The Telephone and Il Pimpinone were a smash hit.

Let us know you stopped by our website and together we can create new worlds….
